The Napa Valley Wine Train is a wonderful Napa restaurant, on par with (and above) other well known eateries. Our chef is locally celebrated and prepares fresh, environmentally-sustainable cuisine in one of the most unique kitchens in California (if not the nation). The food surprises and delights.

The Napa Valley Wine Train opened for gourmet-dining September 16, 1989, however the Napa Valley Railroad was built and operated by Samuel Brannan in 1864 as a passenger railroad to take visiting San Franciscans as they arrived by ferry in south Napa to his resort town ‘Calistoga.’
